2019 Colors Of The Year

CAVERN CLAY BY SHERWIN-WILLIAMS

A warm terracotta color with ancient, elemental roots, Cavern Clay is a nod to midcentury modern style, but with the soul of the American Southwest, which together creates a desert modern aesthetic.

METROPOLITAN BY BENJAMAN MOORE

“Metropolitan emanates nuance, harmony and extravagant ease. Always adaptable, it softens to matte or shimmers with sheen. It’s neutral. It’s understated. It just is. This is color, off-duty.”

BLUEPRINT BY BEHR

Blueprint in it’s essence is a denim blue, but not just any denim blue.  If you’ll allow me to draw a parallel to blue jeans, it’s that perfect middle of the road blue denim color- not too dark, not too light, slightly worn to keep it comfortable, but with enough color to be easily dressed up.  When you find a pair in this color you start scrambling to find your size in the stack.

GARDEN PATCH BY DUTCH BOY

Not too deep and not too primary, this notalgic, obtanical hue stands out for its warm and calming effect. Paired with soft neutral and pops of warm colors, Garden Patch offers rejuvenation and peace at the end of the day in every room of the home.

NIGHT WATCH BY PPG

“Night Watch is about bringing the healing power from the outdoors into your home through color,” said Dee Schlotter, PPG senior color marketing manager. “The dark green hue pulls our memories of natural environments to the surface to recreate the calming, invigorating euphoria we feel when in nature.”
