This is the time Buyers, again, get nervous. What are they going to find? Black mold? Termites? Main Beams broken in half? Who knows! It’s the unknown that makes Buyers nervous but as your knowledgeable Realtor, I’ve seen a lot. Most of the things that come up in Home Inspections are common to us and easily repaired. Did you know 8-10 homes here in the Greater Springfield area come up with Active Termites? It’s true. We must have the perfect conditions for them to thrive. Also, 8-10 wells come back contaminated. Most of these statistics may scare you but they are easily treated, and we are here to guide you through this not-so scary process.
So, take a breath and if I tell you it’s going to be okay. There’s a good chance it will be. But if I tell you we should probably run, let’s get on our tennis shoes and I’ll meet you at the door.
